In order to evaluate effectively the amount of sex and nudity on British television, a lot of watching would have to be done. The definition of sex to be applied would be kissing leading into fondling, groping, leading towards the illusion of intercourse. A sex scene will not count if its kissing leads to a ‘resolution’ scene in the bedroom or wherever the act has taken place. Nudity in documentary shows such as national geographic will not be counted. The information will be gathered randomly over a short period of time and averaged out.
